The Shaolin Afronauts

The Shaolin Afronauts are a critically acclaimed Australian musical collective formed in 2008, blending Afrobeat, funk, soul, and jazz to create a unique sound inspired by Fela Kuti, Sun Ra, and Shaft. Led by Ross McHenry, they have released three albums: "The Shaolin Afronauts" (2011), "Quest Under Capricorn" (2012), and "Fly Through the Sun" (2014), characterized by infectious horn sections, driving rhythms, intricate instrumental arrangements, and exploratory jazz elements.
