Nemzzz, born Nemiah Simms, is a British rapper from Gorton, Manchester. He grew up in a family with deep musical roots, with his father being a reggae and bashment vocalist and his mother a beatmaker. Nemzzz developed a passion for music early on, starting to rap at 13 and honing his craft with YouTube instrumentals. His breakthrough came in 2021 with the viral hit "Elevate," which amassed millions of streams, largely thanks to its success on TikTok. He followed up with hits like "2MS" and collaborations with artists such as Stay Flee Get Lizzy and Knucks. Nemzzz's music blends drill and trap, with a unique style that sets him apart in the UK rap scene.
