Morijah, born on August 8, 1999, in Adjamé, Côte d'Ivoire, is a rising gospel artist known for her powerful, spirit-filled music. She is the fourth of seven children in a religious family, with her father being a pastor and her mother a singer. Morijah's faith journey began at age 13, and by 15, she had been baptized. She initially joined her church's music group, where she honed her vocal skills alongside her mother. She launched her music career in 2020 after signing with Djeys Records, starting with Christian song covers. Her debut single "Parle-moi" was released in early 2021, followed by "Allô Allô" later that year. In December 2021, she released her first EP, Reconnaissance, featuring collaborations with KS Bloom and David Okit. Morijah's music blends deep spiritual themes with a gospel sound that has earned her recognition both in her home country and internationally. In 2023, she released another album, 1er Amour. Morijah's growing impact in the gospel music scene has led to performances across multiple countries, including Canada and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
