Melody

Melody Ishihara, known professionally as Melody, is a former J-pop singer and television host born on February 24, 1982, in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. She rose to fame in Japan with her debut single "Dreamin' Away" in 2003, which charted well on the Oricon charts. Throughout her career, she released several successful singles, including "Lovin' U" and "Realize," the latter being featured as the theme song for the TV drama Dragon Zakura. Melody married Japanese musician Miyavi in 2009, and they have two daughters. After a successful music career, she shifted her focus toward fashion design and even launched a children's music project with her sister.
