Mayorkun

Mayorkun is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer born Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel on March 23, 1994. He rose to fame after signing with Davido's DMW Records in 2016, blending Afrobeats, pop, and R&B to create hits like "Eleko", "Mama", "Che Che", and "Geng". Mayorkun's debut album "The Mayor of Lagos" (2018) and sophomore album "Back in Office" (2021) solidified his position, earning numerous awards and nominations, including the Headies, BET Awards, and Nigeria Entertainment Awards, making him one of Nigeria's leading contemporary artists.
