MAXEE

MAXEE

MAXEE was the stage name of Charmayne Maxwell, an American singer best known for being part of the 1990s R&B group Brownstone. The group made significant waves in the music scene with hits like "If You Love Me" and "Grapevyne." MAXEE's solo career saw a brief, though notable, period in the UK, with her debut single "When I Look Into Your Eyes" reaching number 55 on the UK Singles Chart in 2000. Tragically, MAXEE's life was cut short in 2015 at the age of 46, after a fall at her Los Angeles home led to a fatal injury from a broken wine glass.
