Louis Futon is an electronic music producer from Philadelphia, known for his innovative blend of future bass, trap, and electronic sounds. Initially forming as a duo in 2013, he later became a solo artist. His early works involved remixes of hip-hop and R&B tracks, gaining attention with his reinterpretations of songs by Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, and GoldLink. Futon's debut project, Louis Futon (2015), introduced his distinct sound, and his collaboration with ROZES on "Wasted on You" was a major hit, released through ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective. Throughout his career, he has worked with a wide range of artists, from the soulful RKCB to hip-hop talents like Armani White and Duckwrth. His album Way Back When (2018) showcases his versatility, blending electronic beats with emotional R&B and hip-hop influences. His live performances also stand out, with multi-instrumental setups and collaborations that push the boundaries of electronic music.
