Ko-C, whose real name is Njang Mengu Collins, is a Cameroonian rapper, singer, and songwriter born on November 18, 1992, in Kumba, Cameroon. Known for his fast rapping style, which has earned him the title "Cameroon's Fastest Rapper," Ko-C began his musical journey in 2015 when he joined the group P.I.M. (Preach It Movement). After a brief stint with the group, he pursued a solo career and signed with the Rawget Music label, releasing his first single, "Balancé," in 2016. His breakthrough came after signing with Big Dreams Entertainment in 2017, where he released hits like "I Love You" featuring Locko, and the popular "Balance Remix" featuring Tenor. He eventually left Big Dreams Entertainment in 2020 and started his own label, Power House Entertainment. Ko-C's music blends Afrobeats, pop rap, and Amapiano, and he has been recognized with awards such as Best New Artist at the Urban Jamz Awards in 2018.
