Kid Ink, born Brian Todd Collins on April 1, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, is an American rapper, singer, and record producer. He began his music career by making beats at the age of 16 and later transitioned to rapping. Kid Ink first gained attention with his mixtapes, including World Tour (2010), and signed with Tha Alumni Music Group. His stage name "Kid Ink" was inspired by his love for tattoos. In 2012, he released his debut album Up & Away, which included popular tracks like "Time of Your Life" and "Lost in the Sauce." His breakthrough came with the single "Show Me," featuring Chris Brown, from his second studio album My Own Lane (2014), which went on to be certified double Platinum. Known for collaborations with artists like Chris Brown, Tyga, and Usher, Kid Ink has maintained success with subsequent albums, including Full Spee (2015) and Summer in the Winter (2015). His music blends hip-hop, R&B, and pop influences.
