Kcee, whose full name is Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on April 18, 1979. He hails from Anambra State but was raised in Lagos. Initially pursuing a career in football, he later discovered his passion for music after joining a church choir. Kcee gained prominence after winning the reality show Star Quest alongside his music partner, Presh, in 2002. Together, they formed the duo KC Presh, delivering hits like "Shokori Bobo" before splitting in 2011 to pursue solo careers. Kcee's solo career took off with the release of the chart-topping hit "Limpopo" in 2013. His debut album, Take Over, featured collaborations with artists like Wizkid, Davido, and Phyno. Over the years, he has earned several awards and secured endorsement deals, including one with MTN. Kcee is also the vice president of Five Star Music, a label co-founded with his brother, E-Money. He is married to Ijeoma Okonkwo, and they have three children. Despite being a public figure, Kcee keeps his family life private.
