Jung Kook

Jeon Jungkook, known mononymously as Jungkook, was born on September 1, 1997, in Busan, South Korea. He is a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, where he serves as the group's center, lead vocalist, and dancer. Jungkook began his musical career in 2013 when BTS debuted under Big Hit Music. Over the years, he has become known for his powerful vocals and stage presence. In addition to his work with BTS, Jungkook has ventured into solo music, releasing tracks like "Still With You" (2020) and "My You" (2022). His solo career officially took off with the release of his single "Seven" featuring Latto in July 2023, which garnered widespread attention and chart success. Jungkook has also been involved in producing and writing songs for BTS, including tracks like "Love is Not Over" and "Magic Shop." Known for his passion for music, Jungkook has also made a significant impact outside of K-pop. In 2018, he was honored with the Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit, and he was appointed Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture by South Korea in 2021. Jungkook continues to enjoy global recognition for both his group and solo contributions to music.
