Sammie Marquez Benson, professionally known as Blac Youngsta, is an American rapper and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee. Born on April 8, 1990, Blac Youngsta rose to prominence for his energetic delivery, raw storytelling, and distinct Southern rap style. He is signed to Yo Gotti's record label, Collective Music Group (CMG), as well as Epic Records. Blac Youngsta's music career began with the release of mixtapes such as Fast Bricks and Heavy. His breakout moment came in 2015 with the single Heavy, which caught the attention of Yo Gotti and led to his signing with CMG. He followed this with more successful projects, including F Everybody and 2.23, the latter featuring his hit song Booty, which charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a club anthem.
