Adewale Ayuba (born May 6, 1969) is a Nigerian Fuji and Afrobeat singer, songwriter, and performer from Ogun State, born in Ibadan, Oyo State, to Chief Ademola and Mrs. Abike Ayuba. He began his music career in the 1980s, gaining popularity with debut album "Ekiki" (1986) and subsequent hits like "Egbe Omo Meta," "Ijo Fuji," and "Bubble," blending traditional Fuji with contemporary styles, earning him the nickname "Mr. Johnson." Ayuba has collaborated with notable artists, including King Sunny Adé, Ebenezer Obey, Sir Shina Peters, Pasuma, and Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, and received awards such as the Fela Anikulapo-Kuti Award, Nigerian Music Awards, and City People Music Award for Lifetime Achievement, connecting with fans on social media @adewaleayuba.
